To get from Pyin Oo Lwin to Kyaukme for our bike trek, we took a recommended "scenic" train ride. The train cars swayed every other way.

The talked about part of the train ride is crossing the Goteik viaduct. The bridge was completed around 1900 by the Pennsylvania Steel Company and crosses a large canyon. In order to successfully cross it, trains come to a crawl.
