More travel days! We headed from Bagan to Mandalay. Spent a quick night. Then it was back on the road to Pyin Oo Lwin.

The ride from Mandalay to Pyin Oo Lwin was rather treacherous. Nate and I shared a taxi with some locals. 6 of us packed into a small 5 person car. The road winds up and over a mountain pass. Now Burmese people with car rides. The mother and son next to me were puking the whole way up the pass. With each baggie full of vomit, the mom would chuck them out the window. I kept waiting for one to smack one of the many motorcycles on the side. It was a long few hours....

We eventually made it to Pyin Oo Lwin, which is an old British outpost. It's filled with big beautiful colonial homes and gardens.
The botanical gardens was the place to be on this lovely afternoon.
