alp day

Today we had a BBQ up at the alp. Coolest place ever! Some day, I will (take my word) bring a group of friends to spend some time at a place like that. For this weekend, the Zeller's invited a large group of friends, children, and dogs for a day of fun at the alp.  Yard games, food and wine galore, different languages, and happy laughs filled the day til sunset.

My days in Switzerland have been filled with great walks, a wonderful family, too much cheese and wine, and friendly cows. I love it!! I feel like I'm in a fairytale! While everyone else is at work/in school, I take long walks straight from the door. Hours later I find my way back home with jello legs.

Elizabeth and I had a lovely time exploring the most beautiful town of Chamonix in the French Alps. I'm in love with it!

A most unfortunate turn of events this evening. EGG fell on our decent into Les Chapieux. Her ankle is badly swollen. Things aren't looking too good. But, we will play it by ear in the morning.
